A blog for the Kendama community

About Me

My name is Turner Thorne and I am 21 years old. I started playing kendama in the spring of 2009 when I injured my knee skiing in oregon. My good friend Tim Durtschi gave me a kendama to play with while everyone went skiing. I enjoyed it so much that I instantly bought one, and have not put one down ever since!! In the Winter of 2009 KendamaUSA.com announced that they would be holding an online competition to join the Kendama USA pro team. I made the best possible edit i could and luckily it paid off, I was given the opportunity to join the Kendama USA pro team, i could not have been more excited. I created this blog to share and spread the love for kendama! I will be posing articles about kendama as well as art, music, culture, skiing, ect. whatever you can think of i will try to post. Please if you have any questions goto my contact page and send me an email. Thank you and enjoy!!
